Functional Fitness

This class is made up of strength based functional movements in the transverse, frontal and saggital planes to mimic and prepare us for the challenges of daily living and adventure. Movements will include kettlebell work, farmer carries, box work, wood chops and other functional strength based movements.

Strength x HIIT

This class incorporates short sets of intense difficult work followed by periods of rest. We focus on power, intensity and pushing our VO2 max by entering Zone 4+5 cardio and using heavy dumbbells and plates. Movements/equipment includes slam balls, sleds, plates, battle ropes, dumbbells and burpees.

Total Body Strength

This class uses 5 - 25lb weights and bands to provide a total body strength endurance based workout that challenges the body but does not stress it as intensely as heavy weight + HIIT. Cardio thresholds remain in Zone 2 + 3 and we use weight that promotes muscle maintenance rather than depletion for rebuild.

Slow Burn (coming this winter)

A new class is coming this winter! We will use brand new Lagree machines (similar to a pilates reformer) to work slowly and intensely target foundational core and leg muscles. The workout is low impact and aimed at Improving posture, core strength & functional movement. The session challenges your balance & mind/body connection by employing the principles of Lagree; postural alignment, breathing, strength, controlled movement, and flexibility.

Prenatal Yoga (private sessions)

Prenatal yoga is appropriate for all stages of pregnancy. Yoga is the perfect way to prepare your mind and body for childbirth. Sessions will include meditative breath work to encourage relaxation as well as poses to stretch and strengthen the hips and back. Yoga is a wonderful way to connect with yourself and your baby as you envision the journey ahead. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Yoga (private sessions)

Arlee works 1:1 with clients teaching an energetic vinyasa-style yoga that moves at a faster pace and high intensity than other slower moving yoga styles. Her sessions are designed to build your strength and flexibility! The hour will include focus on upper body and core strength, deep stretching, breath and relaxation and mindful balance.
